Game data on your device

CarGuess stores your guesses and game progress in your browser’s local storage under the key carguess:v1. Your sound preference is stored separately under carguess:sound. This allows your current round and daily statistics to survive a refresh. The game does not send these records to a CarGuess server. They do not follow you to another browser or device.

To erase this progress, clear the site’s stored data in your browser settings. This will also reset your statistics. Private browsing or disabled storage may prevent progress from being retained.

Hosting and connection data

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Delivering and protecting the website involves processing connection information such as IP addresses and request details. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its processing.

Photos and external links

Car photographs are served from this site. We link to original photo and licence pages for attribution. Opening an external link takes you to that provider’s website and its privacy practices apply there.

Advertising and analytics

Advertising is not active in this version. The advertising spaces are placeholders; the site does not currently load Google AdSense, advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts. If advertising is enabled later, this notice and the consent controls must be updated before ads are served.

Accounts and payments

This version has no player accounts, payment form, mailing list or public leaderboard. Results are copied to your clipboard only when you press Share result. Sharing them with another service is your choice.
